Cool Babysitting Activities

Babysitting is a new trendy business, and there are many online companies. So whether you are an adult or a teenage babysitter, you always want to go prepared to your engagement, get some interesting activities ready for your evening with the kids. The following are two great activities that can be great fun for them. Remember the more you entertain them, the more likely the parents are to call you back again.

Make Bubbles - Kids love blowing bubbles, and love it even more when they get to make the bubble stuff. To do this you will need water, dish soap (something like joy, or sunlight), and corn syrup.

1/3 cup of water 1/3 cup of dish soap 2 spoons of light corn syrup

All you have to do is combine everything and then use a bubble blower, but when you don't have a bubble blower you can use different utensils. Open the kitchen drawers and try different types of utensils. Try a potato masher, a handle with a hole in it, etc.

Here is another great babysitting activity, you will want to try. Make play dough from scratch. You can do this at home before you go or with the kids. You will need a few things like water, flour, food coloring, cream of tartar and vegetable oil.

4 teaspoons of cream of tartar 2 cups of boiling water 2 cups of flour Food coloring 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil 1 cup of salt

Put the food coloring and the oil into the boiling water. Then place everything else in and mix. The dough will begin to get smoother as you knead it. Then you need to store it in an airtight container.

The above are just two great activities you can do with the kids. You can find many more options online. If these two activities are not enough for one night throw in a cool Disney movie and some popcorn. They will have had so much fun, that they will be ready to do something relaxing.
